Participate in our new Welcome to Leadership Bootcamp for the basic skills of supervision!

Many new supervisors and managers struggle with the confidence or skills to communicate clearly and assertively with their new teams. If this is you, this workshop is the interactive and safe place to discuss and practice these skills with lead facilitator Angie Myer and peers from all over the nonprofit community. The structure of this session will be open and honest conversations, so come ready to reflect, question, and engage with peers that are going through the same thing.

Together we will:

• Explore the concept "clear is kind" and what it looks like for your situation
• Develop confidence in setting clear expectations for employees
• Practice accountability conversations and assertive communication
• Identify best practices in giving and receiving effective feedback
  
• Much discussion & reflection

Who should attend? New supervisors/manager, or anyone looking for additional insight into effective communication. No pre-requisites.

“get in shape” to lead their teams with confidence and skill: Welcome to Leadership Bootcamp

The Bootcamp is designed to supplement the soft skills taught in Mindful Manager (which can be completed before, during, or after) by focusing on the basics of successful leadership, in mindset and skill.  These four 2-hour workshops will be offered monthly in Fall 2025. Enroll in just one or all of them. If you complete all four, you will be awarded a Welcome to Leadership certificate/digital badge.
