This practical workshop helps HR & hiring managers understand how artificial intelligence can enhance, but not replace, human-centered recruitment. Participants will gain clarity on what AI is—and isn’t—in the context of HR and explore how it can streamline critical tasks like writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding. Through real-world nonprofit use cases, attendees will learn how to create effective AI prompts to improve efficiency while maintaining a people-first approach. The session also addresses responsible AI use, including ethical considerations, bias awareness, and compliance, equipping participants with both the tools and judgment to apply AI wisely in their recruitment practices. Participants will leave with a set of ready-to-use recruitment prompts and a workflow checklist.
